TraumAnon was created to provide safe, peer-led support for individuals recovering from the impact of trauma. Trauma often leaves people feeling isolated, disconnected, and unsure where to turn. Many carry experiences that feel difficult to explain — even harder to share.
TraumAnon exists to change that.
Through connection, shared experience, and compassionate support, we create spaces where survivors can reclaim their voice, rebuild trust, and begin healing alongside others who understand. We believe healing happens in community — and no one should have to do it alone.
TraumAnon empowers individuals recovering from trauma by providing safe, peer-led, 12-step support groups grounded in connection, community, and shared experience.
As a self-supporting nonprofit, we create spaces where survivors can reclaim their voice, reduce isolation, and rebuild trust.
TraumAnon envisions a world where every community has access to trauma-informed support that restores connection and fosters long-term healing.
We are building a network of peer-driven groups where survivors are no longer alone, but supported by others who understand their journey.

TraumAnon is a self‑supporting 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals recovering from the impact of trauma. Rooted in a 12‑step model and grounded in the belief that healing happens in community, we provide safe, peer‑led spaces where survivors can share their experiences, rebuild trust, and reconnect with others who understand the weight of trauma.

Trauma often leaves people feeling alone, disconnected, and unsure where to turn. TraumAnon exists to counter that isolation. Through honest conversation, shared experience, and compassionate support, we create environments where individuals can reclaim their voice and begin to heal in the presence of others who have walked similar paths.
Our motto—Empower • Connect • Overcome—reflects the heart of our work. We empower survivors to take ownership of their healing, connect them with a supportive community, and help them overcome the barriers trauma creates. Every group and program is peer‑driven, accessible, and grounded in the principles of mutual aid, integrity, and respect.
